Name:Natsumi Tsukishima

Appearance: Natsumi has Dark brown hair, that reaches her shoulders, and sparkling green eyes. She stands at 5'3'' and is revatively tiny for her age. Natsumi isn't really muscular but she's stronger than it seems. She looks like most girls her age and doesn't stand out very much. She is very plain and likes too keep her looks and clothes simple. Natsumi wears a solid green t-shirt and a brown knee-length skirt with black shorts undernieth. She wears an anklet with three beads braided into it on her left ankle.

Personality: Natsumi is generally a nice person but can have a bit of an attitude sometimes. She sticks close to her friends and people she knows. She will be quiet around thoes she doesn't know, just until she gets used to them. Natsumi is brave but still gets nervous. She is optimistic and doesn't let things get to her.

History: Natsumi was born to Momo and Kyga sixteen years before the start. They had run away to Iwa to have a fresh start when Natsumi was three years old. Natsumi and her parents soon started their own chocolate shop and Natsumi learned to make chocolates. She didn't really want to and started to get mad at her parents for seemingly shutting her off from everyone. Right before she turned seven, Natsumi stormed from her house and ran far. She ran into the village square, where an older girl found her. The older girl talked to her and told Natsumi about the ninja academy. Natsumi knew that's what she wanted to become. The older girl to Natsumi that her name Ayame, and took Natsumi home. Natsumi's parents started to listen to her when she explain that she wanted to be a ninja. They said that they would sign her up and she would start in a week.

Natsumi trained with Ayame up until the day she started the academy. They worked on taijutsu and concentration. Ayame taught her concentration by braiding string and rope. She soon started learning the basics and continued to train on the side with Ayame. The years passed until Natsumi was 12. A few days before her graduation, Natsumi found out the Ayame had become MIA dusring a mission. Natsumi was so upest she nearly failed her exam, she hadn't been concentrating. Natsumi graduated and a few weeks went by before she heard anything. She finnaly got the news, Ayame had been found dead. Ayame's Jounin teacher had found her dying and she had told him to tell Natsumi not to worry and train hard. Natsumi decided to make and anklet with a bead on it, in memory of Ayame. She decided if she ever lost a friend or team member, she would put a bead on the anklet.

Natsumi trained hard and was put on a team with a guy and another girl; Haru and Mya. They went on a lot of missions and built up their skills, learning whatever they could. Years passed, and when she was 14 tradgety struck again. Her team had been caught in a inn when fire erupted. Natsumi and her sensei made it out but the other two did not. Two more beads went on the anklet, but Natsumi remained optimistic and happy with daily life. Not long after the fire, it was time for the Chuunin exams. Natsumi completed them and became a chuunin. Natsumi remained a Chuunin for two years and then was chosen to be a Jounin.

It was a pitch black night, dark rain clouds pouring rain on the town below. It was the kind of night no one wants to be out in, but 14 year-old Natsumi had to be. Her team had just gotten a mission and they couldn't turn down. Natsumi got her gear together and took one last look at her clock. Eleven o'clock at night. She opened her window and leaped from it, jumping from rooftop to rooftop until her team came into view. Natsumi and her team congrigated just before the gates, but just kept running. They raced out of the village. Passed the gates and down a dirt path that was quickly turning to mud.

Natsumi, Haru, and Mya trailed down the path, just behind Kumori-sensei. He was telling them the specifics of the mission. They would be escorting a Princess on her way to Konoha from farther up the mountain. They were to meet her the following afternoon. Natsumi's wet hair fell in her face, blinding her for a minute, makeing her nearly hit a tree. Luckly, she was able to tell where the trunk was and dodge it. Kumori-sensei stopped them, they were near some sort of building. They couldn't tell what it was since the rain was so heavy. He lead the team closer until Natsumi could read the sign hanging just above the door frame. "Iwa Inn" It read.

They entered the inn and Kumori told them that they themslves and the servents of the Princess would be staying here. The inn's hostess stepped foward and showed them to their room. When they arived,Natsumi found her place on the floor, got as comfortable as she could, and soon was enveloped in complete darkness.

Natsumi was jerked awake as Haru shook her. He told her that the inn was on fire and they had to help get everyone out. Natsumi was on her feet in a second and begain checking every room for people, seeing if anyone was trapped. No one was, and Natumi continued on. Suddenly, the roof caved in. Screams pierced the night and Natsumi turned around, only to see Mya and Haru trapped under piles of burning boards. Natsumi was about to take a step foward when she felt a hand on her arm. Kumori-sensei had ran up unnoticed until now. He grabbed Natsumi and ran. She screamed for them to go back, but he wouldn't tun around. They emerged from the building and did the only thing they could do; watch it burn. Natsumi stood there, shakeing with terror. She knew she couldn't help them now, they must have been burned to crisps.

The next morning, a retrival team arrived. The Tsuchikage had sent them when he had learned what happened. Natsumi watched as the bones of her friends were extracted from the remains and looked down. She saw the anklet that she had start a few years before. "It's time to add some new beads." Natsumi thought, reaching into her pocket. Her fingers found a bag of beads and she took two from the bag. One white and one red to add to the blue bead for Ayame. She unbraided the anklet and rebraided it, this time with three beads. She continued the mission, but never forgot the sacrafices her team mates had made for her.

Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.
Katon jutsu such as this are seen as a rite of passage into adulthood for Uchiha clan members. Once the member can manipulate fire, they are finally recognized as no longer being a child

The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Magen • Jubaku Satsu is a Genjutsu technique utilized by the Leaf Jounin Yuuhi Kurenai. After forming the needed hand seals, Kurenai will disappear and approach her target. Once near her target, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind them so they can no longer move. Once the illusion makes them believe they are captured, Kurenai will appear from the tree itself and stab her target with a kunai.
