With the Genjutsu Cancel technique, the user is able to block the chakra flow in their body, which cancels the effects of genjutsu, even before falling to its trap. The user can also release a victim of the genjutsu by preforming needed hand seals and tapping the victim.

The Shadow Imitation Technique's original purpose is to delay pursuers in order for a team to flee. With the use of a hand seal, the user can stretch a shadow up to twice the length of all of the shadows the projected "shadow" touches combined. If a target is captured within the user's shadow, the result is that the two combatants will mirror each others' movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that.

The Shadow Sewing technique is a technique unique to the Nara Clan. The user first extends his shadow by using the Rat hand seal, then creates shadow tendrils by using the Bird hand seal. The tendrils can serve various purposes such as attacking or binding an opponent and/or attacking multiple targets

Shadow Neck Bind Technique (影首縛りの術, Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu)

After capturing an opponent with the Shadow Imitation Technique, the user can then further extend their shadow up to the target's throat in the shape of a hand, which chokes them to death. Also if the user is at a last resort, and the shadow possession isn't making them copy their moves, he will bind the opponents body in order to stop all their movements and cause great amount of damage. In addition, the closer the user is to their opponent, the tighter the strangle will become.

Name: Shadow Summoning Technique (影寄せの術, Kageyose no Jutsu)

After capturing a target with the Shadow Imitation Technique, the user summons shadowy tendrils from their opponent's body, controlling them in the same manner as Shadow Sewing, but from the opponent's body instead of the user's.
"Yose" is also a term used for the endgame move in go and shogi

Shikataru throws flash bombs behind him, to not only blind his foes but also to extend the range of his shadow indefinitely. Once those preparations are complete, Shikataru can put any parts of his body in front of the light and it will appear as a enormous shadow. Once his shadow is ready, he can constrict his enemy's easily just by closing his hand. Other parts of his body have not yet been seen, though it is speculated to do the same thing. In addition to the shadow, this technique may consume more chakra but, it is much easier to hit the opponent and cause major damage.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique

Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

Descriotion: This medical technique forms one's chakra into a small, sharp blade. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular scalpels, the chakra scalpel can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection.

The chakra scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the chakra scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cuts muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile.

It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique.

By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state. Although this is usually undesirable, Kabuto Yakushi once effectively used this side effect to get Kiba Inuzuka out of his way.
