Hospital Visit

" Thanks for fixing my hand and taping it back up," Aruku said to one of the Nurses, walking away and waving good-bye to them from behind his back, " Oh, and for fixing my wrists and waist. I better get going, though. My parents might wonder where I am." Aruku was at the hospital because of a tough and life threatening spar he had with on of his squad members. Aruku did a pretty good job of avoiding getting hit, until his teammate's evil side kicked in, and nearly tried to kill him. But after a while, the pain his teammate had already endured kicked in and saved him. For some reason, though, Aruku felt like he was forgeting something.

" Excuse me young man," One of the Nurses at the desk called out to him, " Aren't you going to go to your friend's room and see if he's okay?" Minato! Aruku knew he forgot something. After offering his own bandages to heal Minato's wounds, Minato used the bandages instead to heal Aruku. Then, after apologizing for nearly trying to kill him, Minato passed out. Aruku had to carry Minato here, since it wouldn't be right to leave him in the Training Grounds and let him die. That would only be right on a mission.

" Oh yeah, I almost forgot about him. So, which room did you put Minato in again?" Aruku asked, and the Nurse pointed to the room Minato was staying in. Aruku said Thank You, and started walking to Minato's room. When he got there, he saw Minato in the bed. He didn't know if he was sleeping or not, or at least he didn't bother to check. So he just sat down in a chair and asked, " So, you feeling any better?" It seemed like after getting healed and after the battle, Aruku was slowly losing his kindness, only to be replaced by laziness and laid-backness.

Minato was asleep and appeared to be having a nightmare, the only real evidence of such was sweat on his forehead, He woke at the sound of a voice, It was Aruku checking up on him no doubt. He momentariliy placed a hand across his destroyed eye, purly out of reflex and years of doing so, he ran a finger down the long scar across it, Scowling evily. He dies Tonight.... Of course he wasnt alking about Aruku, MInato wouldnt kill him after what he did, saving his life after nearly blinding him? He had a just reason to let him die, but he still didnt. Looking at Aruku, but not sitting up,keeping his body covered, he didnt want him seeing his chest, or arms for that matter for reasons already mentioned. He smiled at Aruku, "Thanks, for helping me, I mean, You didnt have to...after what I did to you," He eyed Aruku's wrists guiltly.

Aruku saw Minato stare at his wrists, and stared down at them too. " Oh, you mean this," Aruku said, holding up his taped wrists and laughing a little, " This is nothing compared to what else happened to me." Aruku then stared at his still shattered hand. There must be someplace that can fix this instantly, he thought. Aruku then flashed back to reality and looked at Minato. " Oh, and it was no problem, the helping you and all. I couldn't let you just lie there and die. I'm not one to hold a grudge."

Minato smiled, "Well...Thanks again". Hesitating for a moment, he sat up and got out of bed, and walked over a neatly folded shirt and coat, aware that he was exposing his scarred chest, but this time he wasnt so nervous about showing it, pulling his shirt and coat on, he walks towards the door, giving a curt nod and a wave to Aruku he left, and headed towards his house, he had something to take care of.

Aruku just sat there in the empty hospital bedroom, by himself, as he watched Minato walk out of the hospital room. What hypnotized him was the scar that he saw on Minato's chest. I suspected that his eye was pretty banged up, but his chest too? Who or what would do that to a Genin, or at least a kid since he was probably younger when that happened. After thinking what he had just saw over, Aruku finally decided to get up and go home. He would probably need to get up early in the morning for some more training with his team. Hopefully, a good-night's rest will get the scene of the battle out of his mind.
